Maple Bassmasters is a proud member of the Illinois Bass Nation, and an affiliate of the B.A.S.S. Nation and Bassmaster circuits.
We meet every 4th Tuesday of the month at 7pm in one of the designated party rooms at Papa Passeros:

Our Mission
The mission of Maple Bassmasters is:
A. To stimulate public awareness of bass fishing as a major sport.
B. To offer our state conservation department our organized moral and political support and encouragement.
C. To promote full adherence to all conservation codes and to demand adequate water standards and legal enforcement of existing regulatory standards.
D. To improve our skill as bass anglers through a fellowship of friendly exchange of expert bass catching techniques and ideas.
E. To promote and encourage youth fishing, conservation and a love of this great sport.
Our History
Maple Bassmasters of Illinois was established in May of 1971 and was the first Illinois club to join B.A.S.S. and has grown since. The club has established a constitution, bylaws and tournament rules along with yearly elected officials; President, Vice President, Tournament Chairman, Secretary, Personnel Director, Sargeant of Arms and Treasurer.
The club has kept a running history of tournament records, winning weights, lake totals, total weight and keeper fish, big fish for largemouth and smallmouth, to name a few.
